What is SMARTBOX 2 EMM
SMARTBOX includes GPS tracker, EMX probe and li-ion battery – all in a small magnetic waterproof box. SMARTBOX monitors and transmits data about surrounding environment (temperature, humidity, air pressure, tilt and 3D orientation, G-force and impacts) and also about exact GPS location of the transport. When developing SMARTBOX our main focus was to make it easy use. That is why SMARTBOX can be easily fastened to the transport so that it can’t get lost and can be charged just by placing into the docking station.

SMARTBOX 2 EMM LORA
Optional LoRa Gateway
The LoRa gateway, an accessory of the SMARTBOX system, is designed for the wireless connection of up to four LRN probes or other wireless LoRa sensors. LoRa technology offers a long range for data transmission with minimum energy consumption.
It integrates a Cloud-native multi-constellation global navigation satellite system (GNSS) scanner and a passive Wi-Fi MAC address scanner as a backup for geolocation if there is no GNSS available for example in a dense urban area.
Long Range 2.4GHz transceiver
Wi-Fi ultra-low-power passive scanning 802.11b/g/n
High sensitivity, down to -132dBm
+12.5dBm, High efficiency PA
Low energy consumption, On-chip DC-DC
- LoRa, FLRC, (G)FSK supported modulations
Programmable bit rate
Excellent blocking immunity
Ranging Engine, Time-of-flight function
BLE PHY layer compatibility
Low system cost
Smart solution
When developing SMARTBOX we wanted to make it easy to use. SMARTBOX can be easily attached to the transport so that it cannot be lost and is easy to charge by placing into the charging cradle.
Two strong magnets
SMARTBOX has two strong magnets placed on the bottom of the case which makes attachment to any ferrous metal surface a snap– for example placing onto a vehicle frame or a shipping container.
Strap slots for attachment
SMARTBOX has two slots on each side so it can be easily strapped to most anything.
Charging cradle
Charge SMARTBOX easily by placing it into the charging cradle. The charging cradle is equipped with spring-loaded, gold-plated contacts ensuring perfect contact when charging. No need to disassemble when charging.
