Smart solution

When developing SmartBox we wanted to make it easy to use. SmartBox can be easily attached to the transport so that it cannot be lost and is easy to charge by placing into the charging cradle.

Two strong magnets

SmartBox has two strong magnets placed on the bottom of the case which makes attachment to any ferrous metal surface a snap– for example placing onto a vehicle frame or a shipping container.

Strap slots for attachment

SmartBox has two slots on each side so it can be easily strapped to most anything.

Charging cradle

Charge SmartBox easily by placing it into the charging cradle. The charging cradle is equipped with spring-loaded, gold-plated contacts ensuring perfect contact when charging. No need to disassemble when charging.

Optional LoRa Gateway

The LoRa gateway is a Smartbox accessory designed for the wireless connection of an LRN probe or other wireless LoRa sensor. LoRa technology offers a long range for data transmission with very low energy requirements.

  • Long Range 2.4GHz transceiver

  • High sensitivity, down to -132dBm

  • +12.5dBm, High efficiency PA

  • Low energy consumption, On-chip DC-DC

  • LoRa, FLRC, (G)FSK supported modulations
  • Programmable bit rate

  • Excellent blocking immunity

  • Ranging Engine, Time-of-flight function

  • BLE PHY layer compatibility

  • Low system cost
